If you’ve been shopping commercial floor scrubbers, you might wonder why larger ride-ons or 32″ walk-behinds feature 200Ah battery banks while compact 20″ machines—like the Tennant T300e—top out at 100Ah. It comes down to simple geometry and battery well dimensions. 1. The 14″×14″ Battery Well Compact 20″ walk-behinds are engineered for tight spaces, narrow hallways, […]
You turn the key, step on the pedal, and… nothing happens. Instead of moving, your Tennant T7 rider scrubber just sits there giving you a repeating 2-beep alarm (beep-beep… beep-beep). What does a 2-beep alarm mean? It’s the safety interlock telling you the machine thinks nobody is sitting in the driver’s seat. Before you spend […]
If you’re shopping for a commercial floor scrubber, you’ve probably asked the fundamental ROI question: “How much ground can this machine actually cover in an hour?” Here’s the straight truth: Most commercial floor scrubbers clean between 20,000 and 60,000+ square feet per hour. Have you ever been mid-clean with your Nobles SS5 or Tennant T5 floor scrubber, only for the machine’s propel function to suddenly drop out or stop working altogether? The battery package you choose directly dictates your daily runtime, maintenance labor, and long-term operating costs. At Robey’s PowerKleen, our family has spent over four decades in the commercial floor machine industry. […]
It’s the start of a busy shift: you sit down on your Tennant T7 (or Nobles SS Rider), turn the key switch, press the propel pedal—and nothing. The machine won’t move. Instead, it sits there emitting a frustrating, repetitive 7-beep error code sequence. When a commercial floor scrubber suddenly refuses to drive, it can bring […]
Think about the last time one of your machines went down. Not a catastrophic failure—just a regular, inconvenient breakdown. Maybe it was a Monday morning. Guys are clocking in, coffee’s still brewing, and someone walks up to you with that look on their face. You already know before they say a word: something is down. […]
You’re managing a busy facility. You’ve got mops. You’ve got a dedicated cleaning crew. So why does everyone keep telling you that you need a floor scrubber? Because mopping simply moves dirt around—while floor scrubbing removes it completely. That’s the short answer. But if you’re responsible for a commercial or industrial facility, you deserve the […]
