- Count the beeps. The horn cycles in a specific pattern — count how many times it sounds before it repeats.
- Look at the panel. Note which LED is lit or blinking alongside it.
That’s it. Match what you see to the tables below, and you’ll know in under a minute whether this is a quick fix or a real service issue.
Step 1: Is It Actually Broken — Or Just Doing Its Job?
Before you panic, check this one first. A single beep, repeating, while the machine is in reverse is not a fault. That’s the back-up alarm doing exactly what it’s supposed to do — alerting anyone nearby that the machine is moving backward. Nothing to fix. Nothing to report.
Everything else below happens with the machine in forward, and means the machine has stopped itself on purpose to prevent damage or an unsafe condition.
Step 2: Count the Beeps — The Alarm Code Chart

One rule covers most of this list: if the beep code points to a switch, a pedal, or a connection, check it and reset the key. If the same code comes right back, stop — that’s a real fault, not user error.
Step 3: Check the LEDs — High-Current Faults
These don’t beep. They show up as a blinking FAULT LED plus one other blinking indicator on the panel:
