To maximize the service life and performance of your 13″ Poly Brush set, keep these maintenance tips in mind during routine operation:
• Pre-Sweeping: Always perform a light sweep of the work area before scrubbing to remove string, banding, or large debris that could bind around the drive lug hub.
• Initial Break-In: Run brand-new brushes on low down-pressure for the first 10 to 15 minutes using clean water and floor detergent to properly set bristle flex memory.
• Rotation Schedule: Swap left and right side brushes periodically to balance bristle wear and ensure uniform cleaning power across the full 26-inch deck.
• Replacement Indicator: Periodically check bristle length across the block. When bristles wear down to 1/2 inch in height, replace the brush pair to avoid dragging the plastic block on sensitive floor surfaces or overloading the motor hub.
